In our next Peer Led Dharma Circle, we’ll lay some groundwork for a discussion of the Heart Sutra. We’ll begin by discussing two key concepts that will form the foundation for a closer study of the Heart Sutra. First, we’ll talk about the Three Marks of Existenceimpermanencedukkha, and emptiness or no-self. We’ll also talk about Dependent Origination. In preparation for our closer look at the Heart Sutra, which will follow, please consider purchasing a copy of Thunderous Silence, by Reverend Dosung Yoo of Won Dharma Center if you don’t already have one.

The meetings are informal, lasting for one hour each Wednesday, after the meditation service at 7:30. If you can commit to all four sessions in a topic, that’s great, but drop-in is fine, too.

Your Donation is Appreciated.

If you find yourself experiencing financial challenges, please know that this program is available without charge, and we welcome your presence. If you are fortunate enough to continue making an income, please consider offering an online donation HERE.
Any amount coming from your heart is helpful and greatly appreciated.
