We would like to invite you to take part in our Wednesday Evening Peer-Led Dharma Circle.

As you probably know, many in our sangha have taken part in a Wednesday Evening Peer-Led Dharma Circle since January, 2020. Over the past year, we’ve discussed a great range of dharma topics, from the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path to the Five Aggregates and the Heart Sutra. We’ve met every Wednesday at 7:30, right after the Wednesday Evening Sit. Before the pandemic we met in person at the temple, and we’ve continued to meet online.

We’ll begin our discussion of the Wheel of Life (a.k.a. Bhavacakra, Wheel of Samsara, Wheel of Becoming…) starting next Wednesday, May 19, at 7:30. The Wheel of Life is a beautiful representation of so many key Buddhist concepts – Dukkha, Karma, Conditioned Reality/Emptiness, Realms of Human Existence. It’s also really cool from a purely artistic angle. So I’m really looking forward to our exploration of it.

Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, May 19th, at 7:30, online. (Please consider joining the sit from 6:30-7:30.) If you’re interested, or if you have any questions at all, please email Chris Warnasch (Won Kwang) at wondharmacirclenyc@gmail.com.
