Spiritual Memorial Service

Sunday 11am, June/02/2019

We celebrate a spiritual memorial to honor the life of our spiritual and physical ancestors. This celebration is based on the fundamental Buddhist teaching of conditioned arising, which means that everything is interconnected and interdependent with everything else.

During the service, everyone will have a chance to honor their spiritual teachers, family members or friends who passed away. We pay respect for those who brought us to the earth, nurtured us, helped us to become who we are and challenged us to grow in spirit. In this ceremony, we may see how we are interdependent and interconnected with each other.

In addition we pay respect for sages and saints who have proclaimed the eminent value of cultivation and great compassion for the universal salvation of the universe.

Vegetarian lunch will be served after the service.

We look forward to seeing you on this beautiful day!
