Spiritual Thanksgiving Service & Prayer

Spiritual Thanksgiving Service: Sunday 11am, Dec/05/2021
Online Service via Zoom

We celebrate a spiritual thanksgiving to honor the life of our spiritual and physical ancestors.
On this day of Spiritual Thanksgiving Service, we will have a chance to honor our spiritual teachers, family members, and friends who passed away. We pay respect for those who brought us to the earth, nurtured us, enrich our lives, and challenged us to grow in spirit.

This celebration is based on the fundamental Buddhist teaching of conditioned arising, which means that everything is interconnected and interdependent with everything else.

Spiritual Thanksgiving Prayer: Nov 29 (Mon) – Dec 4 (Sat), 2021 (9 – 9:30 pm, ET)
In honor of the lives of our spiritual teachers and loved ones who have passed away, we will be offering special prayers for one week from November 29 through December 4, each day from 9 – 9:30 pm at our temple. This will include reading prayers aloud, silent meditation, and chanting.
