Daily Practice Guideline from “Living Dharma” by Ven. Chung Ohun Lee
Set your mind and vow to begin daily meditation practice. If you live with your family or roommates, let them know about your meditation practice so you may have their support as well.
Choose a space in your home that is the most comfortable and quiet, and create a home meditation altar there. You can have a meditation cushion, Ilwonsang, meditation bell, candle, incense, or anything that inspires your dharma practice. Reduce any clutter and create a peaceful atmosphere which is free of distractions.
Find a regular time to practice everyday. Morning practice can help you prepare your day with a new fresh mind; while evening practice can give you time to reflect on your day and to relax. you choose morning and/or evening practice. It doesn’t matter what time of day you practice. What is important is that you develop consistency. Begin Today!
